Process data communication error CAN1 / CAN2 / CAN3

What does it mean?

The process data input objects CAN1_IN / CAN2_IN / CAN3_IN receive faulty data or communication is interrupted.

Common causes

• The CAN_IN object receives faulty data or communication is interrupted — wiring, sender or interference on the bus line.

How to fix it

• Check the wiring at X4, check the sender, and increase the monitoring time under C0357/1..3 if necessary.

After troubleshooting: de-energise the device completely (disconnect the 24 V supply and discharge the DC bus) before opening the covers.
