Overcurrent
Motor cable short circuit / motor overcurrent
What does it mean?
Overcurrent tripped by a short circuit or earth fault on the motor cable.
Common causes
- Short circuit of the motor cable, motor cable earth fault, or excessive capacitive charging current on a motor cable that is too long.
How to fix it
- Find the cause of the short circuit, check the motor cable, and use a shorter or lower-capacitance cable.
After troubleshooting: de-energise the device completely (disconnect the 24 V supply and discharge the DC bus) before opening the covers.
