Overcurrent
I²xt overload
What does it mean?
I²xt thermal overload caused by the motor load exceeding the rated current.
Common causes
- Frequent or too long acceleration with overcurrent, or continuous overload with Imotor > 1.05 × Ir.
How to fix it
- Check the drive and motor dimensioning against the actual machine load.
After troubleshooting: de-energise the device completely (disconnect the 24 V supply and discharge the DC bus) before opening the covers.
