DC-bus voltage
Overvoltage in the DC bus
What does it mean?
The DC-bus voltage exceeds the switch-off threshold set in C0173.
Common causes
- Braking energy is too high — the DC-bus voltage is higher than the value set in C0173.
How to fix it
- Use a braking unit or regenerative module, and check the brake resistor dimensioning.
After troubleshooting: de-energise the device completely (disconnect the 24 V supply and discharge the DC bus) before opening the covers.
