DC-bus voltage

Motor phase failure

What does it mean?

A current-carrying motor phase has failed.

Common causes

  • One of the current-carrying motor phases has failed (open circuit).

How to fix it

  • Check the motor and the motor cable
  • if both are fine, check the drive dimensioning.

After troubleshooting: de-energise the device completely (disconnect the 24 V supply and discharge the DC bus) before opening the covers.
